Diplomacy in action. Futures in motion.
The MLSI MUN journey, inaugurated on October 12, 2019, has flourished into a beacon of diplomatic excellence. From our resounding inaugural success to hosting three subsequent MUNs, we've evolved from an intraschool event to a collaborative interschool platform. Our partnership with TAUP has allowed us to engage a broader spectrum of socially responsible young minds, fostering skills in ideation, problem-solving, critical thinking, public speaking, and leadership from the grassroots level. Delegates have consistently displayed remarkable enthusiasm, engaging in meaningful debates that tackle pressing global issues.
Our seasoned executive committee, with their wealth of experience, creates an environment where teamwork, compromise, and diplomacy thrive. This makes MLSI MUN a prime setting for impactful learning and exploration. We've consistently supported our delegates through comprehensive newsletters, engaging videos, and resourceful materials, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges of each conference. As we approach MLSI MUN 2026, we are committed to advancing this legacy of empowering young minds, providing a platform where future leaders can hone their skills and make their voices heard on the global stage.

A welcome from the Head of School and Faculty Advisor to every delegate joining MLSI MUN 2026.

Dear Delegates, Faculty Advisors, and Honored Guests,
It is my heartfelt pleasure to welcome you to Mount Litera School International for this year’s MLSI MUN Conference.
Every day on our campus, I am inspired by the vibrant energy, ambition, and warmth of our student community. Hosting this conference reflects everything our school stands for: nurturing confident, empathetic, and globally minded young people who are ready to engage with the world. While MLSI MUN brings us together to tackle complex global issues through dialogue and diplomacy, the true magic of this event lies in the personal growth that happens along the way.
Learning at MLSI has always gone far beyond books and exam scores. Inside these committee rooms, you will build essential life skills such as leadership, articulate communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving under pressure. True leadership comes not just from defending your own ideas, but from listening deeply to diverse perspectives and mastering the art of respectful disagreement.
Whether this is your very first conference or your tenth, I encourage you to walk into MLSI with curiosity, debate with courage, and keep an open mind. Use your voice, learn from your peers, and embrace every moment of this experience.
We are so proud to open our doors to you all, and I wish you a deeply inspiring, productive, and unforgettable conference.

Dear Delegates,
It is my pleasure to welcome you all to MLSI MUN 2026.
Before a single gavel strikes or a resolution is drafted, this conference takes birth in the form of a blank sheet of paper and is fueled by endless late-night discussions, passion, and hope of creating a conference where young minds come together and care about the world. Witnessing this conference take shape right here on our campus has been one of the most rewarding experiences as the coordinator of this conference.
MUN has a distinct ability to reflect on us and what we can become in the future. Apart from debate, points, and the exact language used by delegates, there is much more to these few days that we call Model United Nations. The quiet moments like first-time delegates taking a deep breath before addressing the committee, unexpected friendships that blossom on the floor of committees and the sudden realization of sharing solutions and finding common grounds make these few days truly special.
To our delegates, this place is yours. Do not feel burdened by perfection; let authenticity define you. Speak with conviction but do so with an open heart. Be challenged to think critically and experience the world through other peoples' eyes. You would not only develop confidence and empathy but also create connections which shall stay long even after the last committee.
To our visiting schools and faculty advisors, thank you for bringing your energy, dedication, and spirit to our school.
I wish you all a very rewarding two days experience here at MLSI. Lead with empathy and experience every moment of it.
A word from the Secretary-General and the Deputy Secretary-General ahead of MLSI MUN 2026.

Dear Delegates,
Five years, fourteen conferences, and countless hours of MUN later, I still remember walking into my first committee, coming prepared with more knowledge on my country’s national dish, culture, and dance, more than its actual stance on the agenda.
Delegates, greetings and welcome to MLSI MUN 2026, I, Naveea Parikh am truly honoured to have been given the role as your general secretary this year.
Rather than giving up after my first loss, the space MLSI MUN gave me to grow as a beginner pushed me to strenghtne my skills to go on and win conferences, across different schools.
And that’s what I believe makes MLSI MUN so special. Whether you are a beginner or a absolute professional MUNer, You will always come back our conference, our adaptive response to your capabilities alongside the efforts of our EB and OC, working day and night, truly help the conference shine.
I have served as your co-chair, chair and now as your gen-sec. Beyond speeches, clauses and points of information, MUN is truly about perspectives. To you yin and yang may represent a division but to someone else they represent a balance. Niether interpretation is wrong, they simply come from different ideas. And that’s what diplomacy asks from us, to understand a perspective withtou having to adopt it. It is the responabiltity fo the best delaget to find a midpoint thats satisfies many perspectives.
On that note, I as your Secretary General, I promise to make sure that MLSI MUN 2026 gives you something worth taking home, whether it is a new perspective, a new skill, or perhaps simply the confidence to stand up and speak again. Whether this becomes your first MUN or your last, or whether you walk into a committee knowing every initiative of your country with regards to the agenda, or absolutely nothing besides its national dish, we welcome you to MLSI MUN 2026.

Dear Delegates,
Welcome to MLSI MUN.
I can still picture myself walking into my first MUN; excited, a bit nervous, and having no idea how much I was going to enjoy it. I have been able to participate in 15 MUNs and from various angles – as a first time delegate, then an experienced delegate, as a volunteer, as a delegate on the logistics team, as a co-chair and now as Deputy Secretary-General.
It's been a long journey and that's what makes this conference so exciting to me. I know what it's like to be on both sides of the dais – and how an effective MUN can live on after they're done.
I just hope that when you go to MLSI MUN you enjoy it, meet new people, learn something new, and find a way to participate in your own. This may be your first conference or it may be your 15th, but there's always something new in the room.
I've always loved the excitement of the MUN process: the fast paced talks, the sudden turns, the good arguments and the sudden 'committee will meet' moments. Hopefully you'll have lots of those moments with us.
So, welcome to MLSI MUN. We’re very glad to have you here, and I’m looking forward to seeing you all in committee.
See you in the room.

Join the delegationA table built for real argument. MLSI MUN 2026 brings together delegates, chairs and observers for a conference built around rigorous debate, sharp research and genuine diplomacy.
The purpose of MUN at MLSI is to establish a conference that is free from performances and is based on ideas. The most effective committees are those that are well-prepared, engage in thoughtful discussion, make effective decisions, and are prepared to question one's own point of view.
All delegates must be given the chance to ask questions and make purposeful contributions to the discussion, as well as defend their answers. Our committees are formed to encourage research and strategy, diplomacy and substance, more than merely the loudest voice.
MLSI MUN is not simply a forum that creates resolutions — it is a forum where competing points of view, hard compromises, and working together to find a way out and create solutions collide.
Committee is the heart of the MLSI MUN. The day is not just about prepared speeches, it's about research, moderated and unmoderated caucus, negotiation, crisis developments and constant adaptation. Alliances are formed, roles change and perspectives are challenged on all sides.
Delegates should have a track record of their portfolio, the understanding of the issue and an ability to interact with the room and not just wait for their turn to speak. Every action you take in an argument has repercussions. Each choice you make in an argument will have ramifications.
Committee is not a show — Committee is work.
MLSI MUN is designed to appeal to the MUNer at all stages of their MUN experience. This is the first conference you've attended and you'll discover that it's a space for asking questions, learning how, and developing your voice.
Our committees are ideal for delegates who are well experienced and wish to be challenged with substantive agendas, strategic negotiation and have opportunities to lead. We do not want to base decisions on experience on who speaks.
The important thing is that you are ready, that you think about your engagement, and that you are open to learning. If you are a newcomer to MUN or a seasoned veteran, there is always something new to learn.
